India has opportunity to revamp its educational system under the light of survey’s finding:
1.FAIR AND EQUAL TREATMENT: Acc. to survey public schools have scored well in science than private schools if socio-economic context have been considered, This justifies and requires better implementation of RTE act, to provide socio-economic disadvantaged section their share of opportunities
2.LEARNING METHODS: outmoded pedagogy is need to be reformed and focus should be more on interactive, concept building and towards practical implementation through labs, workshops, seminars etc.
3.GENDER DIFFERENCES: It should be addressed through awareness ,gov. initiatives like BBBP,SSY etc to improve the performance and enrollment of education system.
4.AUTONOMY: Limited gov.inetrfernce in the school administration to curb favoritism, nepotism, corruption etc and to amend art 171(3c) to limit the involvement of teachers into poltics.
5.INFRASTRUCTURE: separate toilets, adequate school infrastructure, adequate teaching staff, working labs etc to provide affordable and efficent eductaion system.
Along with this strong political will, well informed people about their rights under art, 21(A), and stringent policies implementation can make india capable of harnessing its rich source of demography
